Outdoor Program

Outdoor adventure is the promise made to young people when they join Scouting. Girls yearn for outdoor programs that stir their imagination and interest. This is one of the most unique parts of the Scout BSA program.

In the Outdoors we strive to meet the Aims of Scouting:

Our Troop

Founded in February 2019, Troop 219G was started on the first day of girls joining Scouts BSA (Boy Scouts of America). We were the first all-girls Troop in the Occoquan District (Now part of Prince William District).

Our Troop is chartered by Lake Ridge Rotary Club in Lake Ridge, Virginia.

The Troop meetings are held at Old Bridge United Methodist Church of Lake Ridge.

Visit Troop 219G

Troop 219 G, based in Lake Ridge, VA, is a girl-run program that camps each month and attends summer camp each summer. The Troop is dedicated to in instilling Scout values and building character. Scouts learn essential skills through advancements and study diverse fields through the merit badge program.

Troop 219G meets Monday nights at Old Bridge United Methodist Church. We have Patrol Council meetings one Sunday a month where we plan the details of the upcoming month’s activities.
